What to Expect…

Dog Boarding Sausalito (that’s me…Sid) is all about you and your beloved fur baby.

What you can expect:

  • Tailored attention in a tranquil setting (nestled in the safe harbor of Sausalito’s houseboat community)

  • The assurance that your pup rests easy and wakes up happy (and so do you)

  • Undivided attention (never more than 3 dogs staying w/me at a time)

  • Gentle spontaneous micro training when needed (eg. reinforcement of recall…treats included ;)

  • Daily updates/photos/videos of your pups vacay at Chez Sid ;)

  • A cozy, but luxurious (and truly houseboat bohemian) experience for your little heart

  • Beach outings, only if that’s on your pup’s menu ;)

  • Plenty of opportunities to socialize with new friends (there’s a whole community of doggy dockies/hippies ;)

  • Ample spots to snuggle anywhere they choose (I love when they choose my bed!)

  • An unlimited supply of TLC!

  • On call for your inquiries daily, no concern or check-in is too trivial!

  • Sunbathing in my backyard—the float where the herons hang out ;)

During your pup’s stay, you’ll feel complete peace, knowing they’re not only safe but genuinely happy and content. I’m known for building a deep connection with each dog, ensuring they feel loved and at home. Whether you're focused on work or enjoying time away, you can relax fully, trusting your pup is in caring, competent hands having the time of their life.

How This Service Works:

To keep that calm, connected feeling for every pup, I run Dog Boarding Sausalito as a very small, structured, home-based service.

This is the model here:

• Stays are reserved in advance and paid in full to secure your pup’s spot
• Drop-off and pick-up follow set windows so the day has a steady rhythm
• Only a tiny number of pups share the space at any given time
• The daily flow stays calm and predictable, with a balance of outings, rest, and attention
• Policies apply consistently for every family, which keeps things clear and fair

A different setup usually serves better if you:

• Prefer wide arrival and departure ranges with frequent schedule changes
• Rely on last-minute bookings, extensions, or adjustments
• Feel more comfortable handling payment during or after a stay
• Want extended hours, on-call availability, or a larger, busier environment
• Look for a highly flexible, drop-in style of care

If this is typically what you require, a larger facility or multi-staff operation would be a fit for you.

This structure protects the quiet, high-touch experience the dogs have here. If this model feels like a match, you and your pup will likely feel very at home here. 💛
