The Pup Club 🐾
Your dog may be easy. That doesn’t mean their care is simple.
For dogs who could stay anywhere, but deserve a familiar place with someone who knows how to read what they need.
Some dogs are easy.
Easy to love.
Easy to host.
Easy enough that friends or family might happily say yes.
But the ask is bigger than it looks.
It is not just:
“Can you watch my dog?”
It is:
Will they notice when your dog is uneasy?
Will they know when to give space?
Will they understand the routine?
Will they manage the little transitions?
Will they know who your dog should, and should not, be around?
Will your dog settle, or just get through it?
That is the part that stays in the back of your mind.
The Pup Club is designed to soften that scramble before it starts.
It gives your dog something more specific:
A familiar place.
A tiny, carefully matched group.
Skilled eyes on them.
And care that adjusts to what they actually need.
I’m not just watching whether your dog is “fine.”
I’m watching body language, energy, comfort, arousal, recovery time, and group balance.
The small shifts matter.
That is the difference.
Here, your dog is not joining a big rotation. I host only two to three pups at a time, with three as the absolute maximum.
Every stay is considered with fit, timing, temperament, and whether the group feels right.
The point is not just having somewhere for your dog to stay.
It is having a place where your dog is known, read, and cared for with skill.
For pups who already know this place
Once a dog knows this place, coming back means something.
The same dock.
The same door.
The same cozy corners.
The same person who already knows how they move through the world.
A place their body remembers.
The Pup Club is prepaid monthly boarding for returning families who want their dog’s care already in place before the next trip, work weekend, family visit, or last-minute life thing appears.
What Pup Club Gives You
Priority access
First consideration for available dates because this is already part of your dog’s care rhythm.
A familiar place
Your dog returns to a space they already know, instead of starting over each time.
A caretaker who knows your dog
Who needs reassurance. Who needs space. Who settles best after movement. Who needs a slower morning.
A carefully matched group
A lovely dog can still be the wrong fit for a particular stay. That discernment is part of the care.

New to Dog Boarding Sausalito? 🤍
If your dog is new here, we begin with the regular fit process first.
That starts with an initial meet and greet so I can get a feel for your dog’s temperament, social comfort, handling needs, and how they respond to the space.
If the meet and greet feels like a good first match, the next step is usually a 24-hour stay.
That first overnight gives me a clearer picture of how your dog settles, rests, moves through dock life, handles transitions, and feels around one or two other dogs.
Just as important, I’m looking at whether your dog seems happy here.
Not just manageable.
Not just polite.
Not just “fine.”
A good fit means your dog can settle, move comfortably through the environment, relax around the other pups, and show me that this place feels good in their body.
Because I host only two to three pups at a time, with three as the absolute maximum, the match matters.
If the 24-hour stay goes well and your dog seems genuinely comfortable here, The Pup Club may become an option for future care.
How It Works
The Pup Club is prepaid monthly boarding for returning families.
Choose the tier that matches your travel rhythm.
Plan dates as early as possible.
I review availability, timing, and group fit.
Once dates are confirmed, those nights are reserved for your dog.
Monthly nights are used within that monthly cycle.
Holiday periods are handled separately, with their own availability, rates, and booking guidelines.
The Pup Club gives returning families priority access, but it is always built around fit.
I will always choose a good match over filling every spot.
Already in Place Before You Need It 🌊
For families who want more than a last-minute backup plan.
A tiny guest list.
A familiar place.
A caretaker who knows your dog.
Experienced eyes on what they need.
Tell me a little about your dog, your travel rhythm, and whether they’ve stayed with me before. I’ll let you know if The Pup Club feels like the right next step.
